OK!!!!!:D WE ARE GOING TO START FILIMG ACT 2 TOMORROW!
We need Ben f, Ben e, colton, daniel, and Quintin to come early at 7:45 tomorrow morning so we can film Act 2 Scene 1.
Then during 4th hour and advisory we'll finish filming Act 2 Scene 4.
Wednesday we won't be filming, it will be a go over lines again day. Then on Thursday we will start filming again, and hopefully get Act 2 almost done.
Also, Act 2 Scene 2 is the balcony scene, which we are going to try and film at Morgan's house. I'll have further details on that later.

Act 2 isWriten!!!
Ok, this is kind of a progress report.
1. Act 2 is finally writen! Plus, it's been posted on the wiki so the other school can see it.
2. Everyone is going to be able to look at the script and comment what they think on edmodo. Actors, I HIGHLY RECOMEND that you read the knew script, because now would be the time to tell us if you're commfortable saying everything. And to let us know if you want anything to be revised.
3. Act 4 should be done and writen by the end of this week.
4. After Act 4 is writen, we want to set up a time when directors/actors can go over their lines, like a practice run so that way you guys aren't just thrown in.
5. Another thing we are working on is a filming schedule. We WILL be filming next week.
6. PROPS/COSTUME PEOPLE: We'll meet with you guys sometime in advisory this week to see what kind of props we need and if everyone will be able to cope with the costume ideas. Please have a list or an idea of what you need to bring so you can share that with the directors.
7. MONEY ISSUES: Since we don't really have anywhere to film the balcony scene, Colton said that he could build a balcony thing for us. I've seen the layout, and it's perfect. He said he could get it done in a week if he had the right materials, but he doesn't. The total amount of money that he'd need to get the supplies is about $100. So we'd have to find a way to raise that money (not to mention volenteers who'd want to help raise it), or anyone could help and just donate some. It's really awesome what he plans to do, but we're not sure if we could get the money. So, I'd like everyone to comment in their groups on Edmodo of what you think we should do. Just do something else, or raise the money. I'll post a picture on Edmodo of what he plans to build.
8. Writers: If you haven't already gotten your part of the script writen, I need it by tomorrow! We've given everyone a lot of time to write everything, so it should be finished or close to by this point.

Final Costumes, Props, And Other Stuff.
So, today we skyped with the other school about final costumes and props. We agreed that the official color for the Capulets is white, and the official color for the Montagues is red. We were thinking along the lines of that instead of everyone going out and buying stuff for this, that we'll just try and use whatever we have. If anyone thinks we absolutly need something, and the only way is to buy it, come up to me and we can talk about. But here's a list of everything we found out:
*For the balcony scene, Romeo will be wearing a nice red dress shirt, with a white tie, and kacki pants.
*For balcony scene, Juliet will be dressed in a simple white dress, with a red flower in her hair.
*Every other scene, WE NEED IDEAS! Just make sure that you stick with the color schemes!

Another thing was props. When you guys are reading, write down if they use anything in the scenes. Like I know in one scene the Nurse has a fan, and in another Romeo exchanges money, so just be concious of those things. We can meet together one day when you guys have a list of props, and then we can see if anybody already has those things so we don't have to buy stuff.
Audio Peeps:
Also, audio people, we were talking about coming up with like some theme music for our characters. Like for their moods. Like if Romeo is in a bad mood, we can use the same theme music for everytime he's angry, that way people get an idea of what's kind of going to happen in the scene. And since we have lovey scenes, we need some stuff that's kind of like piano, violins, acoustic guitar (soundtrack things) and make sure it doesn't have words. We can have songs with words, but for the main scenes, were going to stay away from that.

And one last thing, were making really good progress with re-writing the play, in fact, Act 2 should be completely writen and done by Friday. We'd like Act 4 to be done sometime next week. But here's the plan, since Act 2 in almost done, we're going to post it and let the other writers&actors look over it. Then, all the actors in those parts can tell us what they think, or if any revisions need to be made.

Everybody's Concerns
Ok guys, thank you a lot for expressing your opinions and feelings on the production! It helped a ton. There was a few points that were common, and we're going to talk a little bit about them.
*kissing scene- emily and quintin WILL NOT BE KISSING! BUT, being the genious film makers that we are, we are working on a way to make sort of an illusion for it, make it look like they did, because it would be a completely awkward situation for our wonderful actors, and it could bring up conflict. So right now were not too worried about it.
*slang- We know that it's suppose to be modern, so we are going to have some slang, but not like we're in the hood, if you know what I mean(: But yes, slang is permitted, but just keep in mind that we need to balance it out with the formal language too.
*Actors whos parts aren't in the acts were filming-If you are an actor, and your part IS NOT in acts 2&4, please inform morgan ASAP(morgan.johnson@vmbulldgos.com)!! Because we'll have to give you a different job other than the one that you were first assigned!
*costumes-Tomorrow (24th) or Friday (25th) we plan to skype the other school about final costumes because we plan to start filming soon, COSTUME PEOPLE AND AUDIO PEOPLE NEED TO BE THERE WHEN WE SKYPE THEM! That way you guys can sort some stuff out since you're in charge of that stuff.
